Yes! Maintenance is available during business hours Monday through Friday and 24/7 for emergencies. If you have a maintenance emergency you can call (866) 956-2986.
Please call our office at (703) 379-8777 to submit a service request or you can use the RentCafe app to put in your maintenance request through our Resident Portal. If you have an after-hours request, you can still call the office number listed above and follow the prompts for emergency maintenance.
You do not have to be present for maintenance to perform work in your apartment, however if you prefer to be present you can indicate your preference on the work order or reach out to the office at 703.379.8777
During business hours, the office can give you access to your apartment. After business hours, you would contact emergency maintenance at (866) 956-2986 and one of our maintenance team members will unlock your apartment. An after hours lock-out will have a fee, you may contact the leasing office with any questions.
We have onsite reserved parking available to our residents, which is located in our underground parking garage. We also offer guest parking in our garage. Please reach out to the leasing office for more information about the parking fees and how to reserve a space, you may also visit our Deposits and Fees page on our website for more information.
We have great amenities in the property! We offer a rooftop pool, sundeck, jacuzzi, fire pit, courtyard lounge with BBQ grills, golf simulator, fitness center, business center, media room, gaming area and a complimentary shuttle to the metro. The Pool is open 11am-8pm daily from Memorial Day to Labor Day. During the off season, the pool deckand fire pit are open Sunday-Thursday from 5am to 10pm and Friday-Saturday from 5am to Midnight. The newly renovated courtyard behind our building is open from 8am - 8pm daily. Please reach out the office with any additional questions.
We love our four-legged friends! We do not have a weight limit, however we do have breed restrictions. You can visit our Deposits and Fees page on the website or contact the office for more information.
Every apartment has stainless steel, energy efficient appliances including refrigerator, oven, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer.
No, we do not offer furnished apartments, however, we do provide flexible lease terms for short-term housing needs. Please contact the office for more details.
Yes! Residents can pick-up their packages 24/7 from our LuxerOne package room.
Absolutely! Our outdoor terrace is the perfect lounging or entertainment space, equipped with grilling stations surrounded by communal dining. In addition we have a fire pit to relax by and activities such as a pool table and corn hole boards. Check out the photos of our newly renovated courtyard on our Gallery page of the website.
Once we receive all documentation, the application process should take no more than 48 hours to be approved. We require a photo ID as well as proof of income in order to process the application.
Your rent can be paid through the resident portal, which can be done online or through the resident portal mobile app.
Yes, renters insurance is required with at least $100,000 in liability coverage and we request that Halstead Tower is listed as the interested party. We also suggest you purchase renter's insurance to cover your personal belongings. Assurant is Windsor's partnered renter's insurance provider.

You have the option to use Verizon or Comcast Xfinity for internet service and Comcast is the cable provider.
You would contact Dominion Power at (866) 366-4357 to set up your electricity. We take care of the water/sewer/trash and pest control set-up for you. You can even pay your water/sewer/trash and pest through our Resident Portal when you pay your rent.
You are resposible for all utilities, including electric and water/sewer/trash/pest.
We have a free shuttle that takes you to the closest Metro station, Pentagon City, and Alexandria DASH bus system has a pick-up right on King Street in front of the community. Please reach out to the Leasing Office for information about the schedules.
We are located in Alexandria City Public Schools District, and Halstead is near the following schools: John Adams Elementary, Francis Hammond Middle School and T.C. Williams High School.
Take I-395 South from Washington or I-395 North for Northern Virginia to the King St Exit 5, follow signs for VA-7 W. We are located off King Street behind the Liberty Gas Station.
Applying with Windsor is easy, everything is completed online. Visit our Halstead Tower by Windsor website and go to the floorplan page. Select the apartment you would like to apply for and click Apply Online.

Appointments can be made, but we gladly welcome walk-ins. One of our onsite team members can provide you with a tour of our community anytime during our office hours. You are able to schedule an appointment through our website under the Schedule a Tour tab.
